NYC ASOPRS Oculoplastic Fellowship

The NYC Combined Oculoplastic Fellowship is a two-year program under the aegis of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). The fellowship offers participation in more than 1500 diverse ophthalmic plastic surgical cases. Fellows rotate with associate preceptors at all major NYC hospitals, providing full exposure to all aspects of ophthalmic plastic surgery. In addition, fellowship electives are completed in craniofacial surgery, dermatology, neuroradiology, ocular pathology and otorhinolaryngology. Fellows conduct clinical research projects resulting in over 10 publications annually and presentations at major national and international meetings. The odd-year fellowship is directed by Michael Kazim, MD and the even-year fellowship is directed by Gary Lelli, Jr., MD. Both fellowships are run identically and share the same preceptors, institutions and mission statement.
